Save $$ This Weekend

If you just looked at your latest electricity bill, then you’ll probably want to look for The Window and Door Store at this weekend’s Maryland Home, Garden and Craft Show.

The Window and Door Store features Dove Vinyl Windows, made with Low “E” Glass. This keeps your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter - saving you money!

When replacing your windows, The Window and Door Store installs The Super Spacer, a patented structural foam spacer that dramatically reduces condensation, delivering the clearest view to warmth and lower monthly bills.

The first weekend of the Maryland Home, Garden and Craft show was great!

The parking lot was full of do-it-yourselfers, people with green thumbs and shoppers looking for great deals on all the products for their homes. Inside the Show, the aisles were crowded with shoppers picking up advice and buying products from eager-to-help exhibitors.

While the parking is free and plentiful, I recommend heading to the second weekend of the Show when it opens at 10:00 am so you can beat the rush.

The second weekend of the Maryland Home, Garden and Craft Show is packed full of informative seminars. You can learn about Staging Your Home to Sell from Paula Henry of Simply Put Interiors or Energy Savings, Safety & More with Lighting Control from Howard Schroeder of GES Technical. Check out the full seminar schedule at the Show website. And of course there’s more than 600 exhibitors with everything you need to put a little spring in your step – and in your home.

German Roasted Nuts

Roasted by a guy wearing real Leiderhosen? Of course!

Traditionally made with almonds, “German Roasted Nuts” uses the same olde world Bavarian recipe and cooking process that has been used for generations.

Right in front of your eyes at The Maryland Home, Garden and Craft Show, “German Roasted Nuts” will blend and melt sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to create a delicious gourmet delight for you to enjoy.

Apple Pie in a Jar?

This tasty novelty sounds intriguing, but it doesn’t do justice to the great taste of La Provencale Cellars’ spreads and ciders. La Provencale Cellars produces a full range of apple products – all on display at the Maryland Home, Garden and Craft Show – February 29-March 2 and March 7-9 at the Timonium Fairgrounds.

Le Mousseux Sparkling Virginia Cider sparkling apple cider has the same crisp complexity as any produced in France Alongside their gourmet apple cider, La Provencale Cellars will feature many of their spreads. The spreads are pasteurized, chemical and fat free, trans-fat free, cholesterol free, and preservative free.

Check – and taste – them out.
